Pep rallies are to homecoming games as the Hall Pass Tour is to cultivating a college going culture.

The tour? A series of high energy, K-12 after-school concerts that use music to advance access to higher education and provide a space for communities to support their youth. By partnering with national nonprofit organization, College For Every Student, we’ve been able to tour at underserved schools across NYC. What makes us different? We allow students to take the lead. At each school, we hold auditions and select students to either open for our headliners (two NYC-based independent artists, ScienZe and j.RENEÉ), co-host or co-DJ, and share their college and career aspirations. 

Now that we’ve successfully completed the pilot tour in NYC, be on the lookout for us at schools across the country starting this Fall (2011).
