Using music to advance access to higher education.

Using music to advance access to higher education. Providing a creative space for communities to support their youth.

The Hall Pass Tour is a series of high energy, after-school music concerts for grades K-12 designed to get underserved youth excited about leveraging higher learning to pursue their dreams.

What makes us different? We empower students to take the lead.

Concerts are planned with the help of student ambassador teams. And while the tour is headlined by independent artists j.RENEÉ and ScienZe, through auditions, we select students to be their opening acts or co-host at each concert. In addition to concerts, the Hall Pass Tour delivers workshops that help students identify their dreams and provides access to resources to make them tangible.

In the spring of 2011, we piloted the tour at five schools across New York City. We set out beyond the city in the fall of 2011 stopping at 10 schools in New Jersey, Delaware and the Adirondack region of  New York.

Starting this fall (2012), the tour will continue expanding to schools and community centers nationwide.
