Calling all educators, community center leadership staff, business and community leaders, administrators and politicians!
Next week, we’re hosting open house events in NYC, Philly, D.C. and Boston. Outside of educating attendees on what we’ve been up to, the purpose of each open house is twofold. Our intent is to:
Space is limited and RSVP is mandatory so be sure to register at hallpasstour.eventbrite.com (you’ll find all the pertinent event details there, too). Know someone who might be interested in attending? Spread the word!
Aaron strikes again with another visual from our Oregon GEAR UP trip last month. Here’s a look a look at how things went at Reedsport Community Charter School in Reedsport, OR.
And then there were 3! Here’s the third video from our Oregon GEAR UP trip. North Douglas Middle School. What do you guys think of the videos so far?
Here’s the next video from our Oregon run. Our second stop? Yoncalla HS | Yoncalla, OR

Toward the end of last month, we had the opportunity to partner with the Oregon University System’s GEAR UP program to facilitate workshops and pep rallies at 5 rural community schools in Oregon. From March 18 - 22, we hit the road and had our lives changed by some truly incredible students.
You can check out all the photos on our Facebook page here. This week, we’re rolling out the footage from our adventure. Here’s a recap from our first stop on the one week run: Elkton Charter School | Elkton, OR.

Wow! The past month has been incredible. We’ve met hundreds of students, community members, parents and school faculty/administrators. I sat at my computer around 5 this morning scanning through pics and footage from the tour and laughed hysterically, beamed with pride and almost cried once (or twice) thinking about how much we’ve accomplished and reliving all the unforgettable moments on the road. Thank you to all the schools who’ve welcomed us with open arms this fall: Richard R. Green HS of Teaching, Plattsburgh High School, Ticonderoga Central School, Crown Point Central School, Keeseville Elementary School, Willsboro Central School, Paterson School No. 5, International High School/Garrett Morgan Academy.
With our Jersey City and DC concerts this week being rescheduled for next Spring, this Thursday and Friday, we conclude the northeast leg of the tour with F.D Stubbs Elementary School in Wilmington, DE on 12/15 and Pelham Preparatory Academy in the Bronx, NY on 12/16. Both shows are open to the public and we’ll be rockin’ from 6pm - 8pm. The Delaware show is FREE, the Bronx concert has a minimal cover charge $5.
So, pick a date and join us, k? Cool. I promise you’ll have a blast.
Here’s a look at some of our favorite photos/moments from the road. Check our Facebook Page for albums from each individual concert. Footage will be making its way to you at the close of the tour.
Once again, thank you all for your continued support!

Our Kickstarter project ended with a very interesting turn of events last Thursday. An anonymous funder contributed a very generous amount (offline) to support our mission - enough to finance a significant portion of the fall 2011 tour and successfully get us to ALL 15 schools on our schedule. If you’re still interested in donating to the fall tour, you can click here OR, click on our Donate tab at the top of the blog.
In the meantime, enlarge the web flier, check out the tour dates and mark your calendars. We kick things off on Thursday, November 10 at the Richard R. Green HS of Teaching and would love to see you!
If enlarging photos isn’t your thing, view the fall tour schedule here: hallpasstour.com/schedule
It’s party time! Join us this Saturday, 10/15 for music, drinks, food, games and good times. Free entry (because we love you). Take a peek at the flier for all the details.
All proceeds go to our #20BY20 Kickstarter campaign. FUN for a GOOD cause. Let’s do it!
